KKB Seafood and Grill Opens in City Time Square Mactan

For over three years in the Seafood restaurant business, KKB Seafood and Grill has already carved a name in the market offering the tastiest and affordable seafood in the island of Lapu-Lapu City.

To better serve its customers, KKB Seafood and Grill opens at the ground level of City Time Square Mactan, Basak-Marigondon Road, Lapu-Lapu City, with operational hours from 11 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 10 pm.

Seafood lovers can now feast a flavourful spread of shrimp, crab, squid, and fish at affordable prices. Bestsellers include shrimp tempura, calamares, baked scallops, and seafood curry.

“Fresh seafood is something people look forward to in Cebu especially in Mactan,” said founder Louie A. Libarios. “We want to give locals and tourists alike the chance to enjoy their seafood favorites without spending too much.”

The restaurant also has live seafood options, such as black tiger prawns, king crabs, and white shrimps, which can be cooked based on the diner’s preference.

According to Libarios, the seafood used in their dishes are harvested fresh from their farm. He runs a seafood export business that specializes in cultivating scallops, vannamei shrimps, and black tiger prawn.

“KKB Seafood and Grill takes pride in our black tiger prawns which are only served in a few restaurants here in Cebu. We want to offer this premium seafood at an affordable price,” said Libarios.

Some of the must-try black tiger prawn dishes are the thermidor and grilled prawn.

Aside from seafood, the restaurant also serves meat and chicken dishes. They have Filipino favorites like sizzling sisig, pork barbecue, pochero, and kaldereta.

At P399, the restaurant offers an eat-all-you-can experience with their Kaon Kaon to the Max promo. Diners can choose from a wide array of shrimp, scallops, squid, pork, and chicken dishes.

“KKB Seafood and Grill offers a seafood feast on a budget for everyone to enjoy,” said Libarios.

The restaurant first opened in 2017 in Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, and offered dishes in big pots staying true to the concept of KKB or Kinaldero, Kinanding, Barbeque. Two years since its conception, KKB Seafood and Grill now serves their staples sans big pots but with the same recipes.
