USJ-R says Adelante! in the midst of COVID-19 crisis

The University of San Jose-Recoletos recently started a campaign to help their students who got stranded in Cebu City, Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, and Talisay City during the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

They started the first batch of their door-to-door distribution of goods last April 2, 2020.

The goods included 10 kg rice, tissue, 2 noodles, 4 canned goods, 5 biscuits, instant coffee and the like including cash assistance.

This initiative #USJRCares is spearheaded by the University of San Jose-Recoletos administration and their Supreme Student Council 39th congress.

Kristine Jean Lara, President of the 39th Congress expresses her gratitude towards everyone who helped make this initiative possible.

“We started from almost crying because of the lack of funds, and now we’re here,” Lara remarked.

USJ-R proves that with the power of collaboration, anything can be moved to greater heights. As one Josenian community, they can face hard times with confidence.

To a Josenian or a colleague of a Josenian who is currently stranded and was not able to receive yet the said assistance, kindly message the official Supreme Student Council page directly on Facebook.
