Free call center training of BPO Partylist gets underway

The Free Call Center (FCC) Training of the Bangon Philippine Outsourcing (BPO) Partylist for Batch 12 kicks off today, Monday, February 28, 2022.

Drawing a total of 120 participants, it’s one of the biggest batches of FCC training that is being held in partnership with Performance360 Global Services owned by Mike Cubos, the President and First Nominee of BPO Partylist.

The BPO Partylist is a Cebu-based sectoral party that advocates the promotion, development, sustainability, support, and advancement of the Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM), Countryside Development, Startups, and Online Filipino Workers in the Philippines.

“We are so overwhelmed with the interest of a lot of Filipinos across the country to join our free call center training, ” said Christine Alburo, the lead trainer of the two-week training scheduled Monday to Friday, from 1 pm to 5 pm.

The bulk of participants came from the Alpha Kappa Rho International Fraternity and Sorority (ακρ or AKRHO) National Grand Council-Visayas (NGC-V) and Cebu Grand Council (CGC) and the Church of the Government of God based in Barangay Bangbang, Cordova.

“Since we limited one class to 40 participants, we divided the batch into three classes, Batch 12-A, 12-B, and 12-C,” added Alburo, who is one of Performance360 Global Services’ top agents before moving up in the management team. She joined the company way back in 2016 with zero background in the IT-BPM Industry.

The other trainers are Fritz Dionson, Kym Angelo Paul Limgenco and Mavel Casano-Kubiček.

Dionson, the IT manager of Performance360 Global Services since 2015, is in charge of the technical aspect of the training since everything will be done online.

Dionson, 30, is one of best I.T. graduates of Cordova Public College (CPC). He received several attractive job offers after his internship with Lexmark Cebu, a global leader in imaging and output technology solutions and managed print services by many of the technology industry’s leading market analyst firms.

Dionson, however, opted to stay in Cordova and helped Cubos set up the first rural BPO in Cebu because he supports the vision of Cubos of providing job opportunities in the countryside.

“We are a compact call center based in Cordova. I have received lucrative offers but I decided to stay and help manage the technical aspect of the company of Cubos because I believe in his vision of providing job opportunities in our municipality which for over 5 years we managed to do that,” Dionson shared.

On the other hand, Casano-Kubiček a language, and grammar teacher based in Slovakia, just recovered from COVID-19 and despite the ongoing conflict of their neighboring countries Ukraine and Russia, still, committed to being part of the training team because of her desire to help the trainees, who are a mix of fresh graduates, undergraduates, and career shifters especially those displaced workers due to the pandemic.

“We appreciate the dedication of Ms Casano-Kubiček,” said Alburo.

While Limgenco, Sales Operations Manager of an international software business company which started in 2008, managed to spare some of his time to help with the training despite his hectic schedule.

“It’s more fulfilling to be able to share my knowledge and experience with others and inspire them to become better versions of themselves,” said Limgenco.

Beginning her career as a Photojournalist at The Freeman Newspaper/Philippine Star from 2000 to 2007, she then served as an Accounts Manager from 2007 to 2008. Driven by a passion for sports, she transitioned to a Sportswriter role at CDN and expanded into news writing for Inquirer Visayas. From 2010 to 2015, she honed her skills as a Sportswriter at Sunstar Cebu, after which she took the initiative to launch her own website-Zoominglife.com
