Three people and institutions awarded by MCCI

The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) awarded people and institutions that have remarkably contributed to the city’s pride and prosperity.

Dynamic Castings bagged the Product of the Year award for having created products bearing the brand of Mandaue and has surpassed the years with innovation and a continuing spirit of entrepreneurship.

The late Cenapro Corporation President and philanthropist Go Sing King were hailed Mentor of the Year for dedicating his life in building a legacy of business excellence that transcends generations.

The Oriental Port and Allied Services Corporation (OPASCOR) received the Industry Catalyst of the Year Award for developing the Finger Pier in Cebu International Port, spurring economic growth in Mandaue and Cebu.

Special Awardees were also recognized for their participation in the Chamber’s projects and endeavors. Matimco, Inc. and Vicsal Foundation Inc. were awarded for their contribution in the construction of the Butuanon River Viewing Deck, and Mr. Oscar Chua of Octoplus Electronics Supply for donating solar lampposts in the Mandaue City Eco Park.

MCCI is Most Outstanding Chamber 2019

The Mandaue Chamber and Awards Night also celebrate MCCI’s very first win as the Most Outstanding Chamber in the Philippines and as the Most Outstanding Chamber in the Visayas for the seventh time.

“This is the first time MCCI has been officially recognized nationally by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the most outstanding chamber,” President Stanley Go said during his opening speech. “This would not have been made possible without your active participation and support in the Chamber’s programs, activities, and advocacies.”

The awards were given by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and other PCCI officers handing the trophies last October 17, 2019, during the culmination of the 45th Philippine Business Conference & Expo (PBC&E) at the Manila Hotel, Manila.

19 new members inducted

MCCI inducted 19 new members during the MCCI Chamber Night, adding to the growing membership base.
