Over P1 Million Prizes at Stake in Century Tuna Everybod Superbod 2020

Several male and female applicants trooped to the Century Tuna Everybod Superbod 2020 Go-See last Sunday,  February 16, 2020 at the Seda Hotel Ayala Centre Cebu.

From the numbers that showed up in Cebu and Manila Go-See , 30 finalists, 15 male and female each, will be shortlisted for the final callback on February 27. The Finals Night is slated on April 26, 2020 in Manila.

This year’s search will not only focus on the physical outlook of the applicants but will also consider what they can do to promote Century Tuna’s advocacy of inspiring others to become healthier versions of themselves.

This was disclosed by Century Tuna’s marketing director Carlo Endaya, who acted as one of the three judges of the Cebu Leg Go-See. 

Endaya was joined by Century Tuna Superbod 2012 Grand Winner John De Lara Spainhour and Associate Creative Director for PC&V Communications, Soc Fajardo.

“We are looking for ambassadors who can help inspire everyone in the Philippines to become better versions of themselves,” said Endaya.

Endaya added that being ambassadors, the male and female grand winners will be the voice of Century Tuna and will be seen in all communication channels of Century Tuna to talk about their message.

This year, they have also widened the age range of the applicants from 18 years old to 60 years old as long as they fit into the three main things that they are looking for in a finalist, such as being fit, eating  right and has the positive outlook in life.

The  finalists will be judged on these following criteria—20% will be given for both their transformation story and social impact; and, 30% will be awarded for body and personality.

The male and female grand winners will be bringing home ₱500,000 each. 

The two male and female runner-up will bag ₱200,000 each while the rest of the finalists will receive ₱10,000 in cash along with other exciting freebies.

Beginning her career as a Photojournalist at The Freeman Newspaper/Philippine Star from 2000 to 2007, she then served as an Accounts Manager from 2007 to 2008. Driven by a passion for sports, she transitioned to a Sportswriter role at CDN and expanded into news writing for Inquirer Visayas.
