ALL SET for the 14th edition of the University Run on September 8, 2019 at the Cebu Doctor’s University (CDU) campus at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City.
According to Run for Sight chairman Potenciano “Yong” Larrazabal that they want to provide not only an avenue for runners to stay fit but as well to ensure their safety by avoiding the main road and use the route along the University grounds going thru Mandani Bay area.
The run will have the 10-kilometer, 5K, and 3K categories. The 10K and 5K races will have the open, alumni and employees divisions, while the 3K will have the open and student divisions.
One of the highlights of this year’s race is the cheerdance competition wherein seven-team will take the centerstage vying for the top plum.
The race eyes of attracting over 2, 500 runners with proceeds used for the Run For Sight Foundation’s medical missions.
Registration fee is pegged at P600 for the 10K, P500 for the 5K and P300 for the 3K. Those interested can register at the CDU, Run for Sight registration areas or via online at www.runforsight.net.
